Locate the 3-digit brand code which corresponds to the name brand of your component. When more than one code is listed, enter the codes, starting with the first code available, according to the instructions that follow in steps 2-4, until the component responds. Select the type of device (TV, VCR, CATV or AUX) to program by pressing the correct 'POWER' key. To program a second TV, VCR or Cable Box, select the AUX mode. Press and hold the 'ENTER' and '0' keys simultaneously, until the indicator light for the device mode selected turns on (about 4 seconds).

Using the numeric keypad, enter the 3-digit brand code that corresponds to your component, followed by the 'ENTER' key.
